Explorer Software Corporation has incorporated DynaCADD98, manufactured by Ditek Software Corporation, into their Trackpoint estimating and measuring software solution.
ExplorerCADD is a fully integrated and functional CADD system that allows the user to do price takeoffs directly from 2-D or 3-D drawings, and instantly add or remove parts and assemblies for easy comparisons. This feature produces more estimates with greater accuracy in less time than ever before.
ExplorerCADD allows full integration between the different functions such as Document Control System, Bid Target, Worksheet, Executive Summary Report and Parts Catalogue. ExplorerCADD also allows the user to import drawings through a CADD file or through the use of a digitizer interface. Within the estimating module in Explorer Trackpoint, the user is able to breakdown components of the job from the Work Breakdown Structure and view and analyze all aspects of the estimated job separately.
